Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2025

1) Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LogicLens (the web app and Chrome extension), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Additional policies (e.g., Chrome Web Store policies) may apply to the extension.

2) Description of Service

LogicLens is an AI‑powered critical‑thinking tool. It analyzes content to detect:

  • Logical fallacies and reasoning errors
  • Information gaps and missing context
  • Rhetorical techniques and bias
  • Source credibility and claims

The service aids critical thinking; it does not replace your judgment. Analysis results may be incomplete or incorrect and are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

3) Accounts and Security

  • You must be eligible to use the service in your jurisdiction and maintain accurate account information.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity under your account.
  • You may link the Chrome extension to your account; do not share access or attempt to bypass authentication.

4) Acceptable Use

  • Use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
  • Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits, abuse the API, or interfere with service operation.
  • Do not submit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content; respect others’ intellectual property rights.
  • Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or probe the service or models beyond permitted interfaces.
  • Do not use the extension to scrape or store content in ways that violate a site’s terms of use.

5) Your Content and License

You retain any rights you have to the content you submit. You grant us a non‑exclusive license to process that content to provide the service and to operate, protect, and improve LogicLens.

We may retain usage metrics and aggregated analytics to operate, protect, and improve the Service.

6) Intellectual Property

LogicLens, including software, models, UI, and documentation, is owned by LogicLensify Software Solutions Ltd. and protected by applicable IP laws. Except for your content, all rights are reserved.

7) Plans, Limits, and Fair Use

We may offer free and paid tiers with per‑day and per‑month rate limits. We may throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that exceed limits or engage in abuse. Details appear in your dashboard.

If a paid plan is offered, additional terms (billing, cancellation, and refunds) may apply and will be presented at purchase.

8) Third‑Party Services

We rely on providers such as Google Firebase and Google Cloud to operate the Service. The extension is distributed via the Chrome Web Store and must comply with applicable store policies.

9) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error‑free operation or the accuracy of results.

10) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOGICLENS AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for any breach of these Terms, suspected abuse, or to comply with law. You may stop using the service at any time; if you delete your account, we will close access and process data deletion subject to legal obligations.

12) Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information and comply with applicable privacy laws.
